 Number one of the German action sports series confirms number one of the German charts: The lake can brace itself for some mighty bass, as Reggae artist Gentleman is going to take the stage in Pinneberg, when all the sports is done! August 29th marks the date, when the action sports extravaganza returns to the Wasserski Arena in Pinneberg near Hamburg. Under a hopefully clear sky Gentleman will headline a line-up of three bands; 28 top riders compete in the disciplines Wakeboard Cable and BMX Miniramp. Already confirmed riders include the BMX winners of the previous years: Mark Webb, Harry Main and Ben Wallace (all from the UK). On the lakeside, former Wakeboarding World Champions Tom Fooshee (USA) and Mike Anthony Ketellapper (NL) have already confirmed, as well as James Young from the UK. Next to action sports events on the Philippines and in the US, the Telekom Playgrounds represent an official stop of the WWA Wake Park World Series 2010. Ticket sales have already begun!
The first confirmed act for Pinneberg is Germany’s most successful reggae artist Gentleman! Live, he will be presenting material from his fifth studio album „Diversity“, which took the German charts by storm from 0 to 1. The first single, “It No Pretty”, reached no.19 of the single charts. 35-year old Gentleman from Cologne has sold a million records world wide, he has received multiple gold and platinum awards, as well as the ECHO as “Best Artist National”, and he is one of the few non-Jamaican musicians to receive full respect as reggae and dancehall artist in Jamaica. In Pinneberg, his set will most likely consist of 19 songs and assorted old masterpieces like “Intoxication” and “Different Places”. Unmistakable lyrics and Jamaican vibes. Let there be summer!
